height=\"380\" \/><\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>\u2022\tSanctioning Authorities:<\/strong> The Gravel of Marathon is a Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), and Hellenic Cycling Federation  (HCF) sanctioned event. Consequently, official <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ucigravelworldseries.com\/en\/regulations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UCI Regulations<\/a><\/strong> and HCF Regulations will strictly apply across all fields.<br \/><strong>\u2022\tSportsmanship:<\/strong> Riders are expected to display exemplary sportsmanship and prioritise the safety of themselves, fellow competitors, and race personnel at all times.<br \/><strong>\u2022\tPhysical Condition:<\/strong> Participants must be in excellent physical condition to handle the rigorous demands of the course.<br \/><strong>\u2022\tStrict Age Requirements by Distance:<\/strong> Minimum entry ages are determined on 31 December in the year of the event and enforced as follows:<br \/><strong>o\tFull and Short Distance Route:<\/strong> Minimum age of 19 years or older.<br \/><strong>\u2022\tApparel Exemption:<\/strong> Pursuant to the context of this mass-participation event drawing international fields, UCI Regulation 1.3.059 will not be strictly applied. Men 60 years and older must complete the 65 km to qualify. Women up to and including 49 years old who want to qualify must complete the 95 km. Women 50 years and older must complete the 65 km to qualify.<br \/>\u2022\tThe first three riders in each official category qualify directly for the UCI Gravel World Championships.<br \/>\u2022 \u0395\u03c0\u03b9\u03c0\u03bb\u03ad\u03bf\u03bd, \u03b4\u03b9\u03ba\u03b1\u03af\u03c9\u03bc\u03b1 \u03c0\u03c1\u03cc\u03ba\u03c1\u03b9\u03c3\u03b7\u03c2 \u03b1\u03c0\u03bf\u03ba\u03c4\u03bf\u03cd\u03bd \u03bc\u03cc\u03bd\u03bf \u03bf\u03b9 \u03c3\u03c5\u03bc\u03bc\u03b5\u03c4\u03ad\u03c7\u03bf\u03bd\u03c4\u03b5\u03c2 \u03c0\u03bf\u03c5 \u03c4\u03b5\u03c1\u03bc\u03b1\u03c4\u03af\u03b6\u03bf\u03c5\u03bd \u03c3\u03c4\u03bf \u03ba\u03b1\u03bb\u03cd\u03c4\u03b5\u03c1\u03bf 25% \u03c4\u03b7\u03c2 \u03ba\u03b1\u03c4\u03b7\u03b3\u03bf\u03c1\u03af\u03b1\u03c2 \u03c4\u03bf\u03c5\u03c2 \u03c3\u03c4\u03bf The Gravel of Marathon (\u03ae \u03c3\u03b5 \u03bf\u03c0\u03bf\u03b9\u03b1\u03b4\u03ae\u03c0\u03bf\u03c4\u03b5 \u03ac\u03bb\u03bb\u03b7 \u03b4\u03b9\u03bf\u03c1\u03b3\u03ac\u03bd\u03c9\u03c3\u03b7 \u03c4\u03bf\u03c5 UCI Gravel World Series).<br \/>\u2022\tAdditionally, qualification rights are only granted to participants who finish in the top 25% of their category during the Gravel of Marathon (or any other UCI Gravel World Series event).<br \/>\u2022\tParticipants starting in the Elite category can only qualify for the Elite category at the UCI Gravel World Championships.<br \/>\u2022\tOnly participants born before December 31, 2007, can qualify for the UCI Gravel World Championships 2027. The minimum age to participate in the UCI Gravel World Championship is 19 years old.<br \/>\u2022\tUCI Gravel World Series Medals &amp; Qualification Slots:\nElite and age-group qualification slots for the pinnacle UCI Gravel World Championships are awarded strictly to top-finishing riders in their designated age brackets, calculated directly via the official UCI percentage rules.<\/p><p a spectator of your withdrawal does not constitute official area on the secure shoulder\/edge of the road, clear of active racing lines.<br \/><strong>\u2022\tFinishing Straight:<\/strong> In the event of a group sprint to the finish line, riders must strictly hold their straight racing line. Deviation that endangers others will result in relegation or disqualification.<br \/><strong>\u2022\tCourse Deviations:<\/strong> If a rider goes off-course, they must immediately retrace their tracking line back to the exact point of departure and resume following the official course from there. All helmets must comply with international \u2018ANSI\u2019 or equivalent safety standards, and must be securely fastened.<br \/><strong>\u2022\tRiding Attire:<\/strong> Professional and appropriate riding attire, including a cycling jersey\/shirt, must be worn for the entire duration of the event.<br \/><strong>\u2022\tSmoking Policy:<\/strong> Smoking on the race route or within active event boundaries is strictly prohibited.<br \/><strong>\u2022\tBike Inspection:<\/strong> Technical bike setups and specific modifications may be audited at the starting corrals.
