The event is non-competitive in nature, aimed at promoting outdoor gravel cycling, showcasing the natural and cultural heritage of the region, and supporting the local economy through cycling tourism.

– Participation is open to individuals aged 18 and over.
– Riders aged 16–17 may participate with a signed parental or guardian consent form.
– The event is designed for gravel bikes; however, other bikes suitable for mixed terrain (MTB, cyclocross, touring) are also accepted.

– The route includes paved roads, dirt tracks, and non-technical trails.
– The route is self-supportedelf supportedand signage is indicative only. This enhances the spirit of adventure and challenge for all participants, as one of the key elements is navigating the route using the GPX files provided before the start. For this reason, the use of a suitable GPS device is essential. Although the organizers have placed directional signs at key points, they bear no responsibility if a participant loses the route due to not using a GPS device. - The route is self-supported and signage is indicative only. – There will be no ranking or timed results.
– A maximum finish time of 5 hours applies for safety and logistical reasons.
– Riders whose average speed indicates they will exceed this limit will be required to return via the event support vehicle after the 2nd checkpoint. – 3 checkpoints and resupply stations will be positioned along the route.

- Helmet (mandatory throughout the entire route)
- Spare inner tube or tyre repair kit
- Water bottle
- Fully charged mobile phone
- GPS device or smartphone with navigation capability

- Ride with respect for the environment, local residents, and fellow participants.
– Littering along the route is strictly prohibited.
– All participants must comply with the Highway Code when riding on public roads.
– The organizers reserve the right to disqualify participants displaying dangerous or unsportsmanlike behaviour.

– A mobile first-aid unit and rescue personnel will be present along the route.
– Participants are personally responsible for their physical condition and the adequacy of their equipment.
– The organizers strongly recommend that all participants hold personal accident insurance.

Registration is confirmed upon payment of the €30 entry fee, which includes:
- Participation in the route
- Pasta Party on Saturday evening
- GPX file
- Goodies Bag (event commemorative T-shirt, Precision Gel, and additional gifts)
- Refreshments and nutrition along the route
- Access to the start/finish area and participation in pre- and post-ride activities, including local cuisine workshops, hiking, and a cycling tour to local wineries - Free camping space for tent or motorhome

By participating, riders agree that they may be photographed or filmed, and that such material may be used for promotional purposes by the organizers.
All event photos will be published on the official website and can be downloaded by participants free of charge.

The organizers reserve the right to modify the terms and route details, or to postpone the event in the event of extreme weather conditions or other exceptional circumstances.
Upon completing the registration process through the official registration platform, participants are required to tick the confirmation checkbox with the following statement:
“I have read, understood, and fully accept the Participation Rules of the Amarantos Gravel Experience, including the disclaimer of liability (Article 11). I hereby declare that I have undergone all necessary medical examinations and that my health condition allows me to participate in mixed-terrain cycling. I assume full and exclusive personal responsibility for any accident, injury, or loss of life during my participation, including any complications related to my state of health.”
Ticking this box constitutes an electronic declaration of intent, legally equivalent to a written signature, and is a prerequisite for completing registration. Without this acceptance, registration cannot be completed. The date, time, and IP address of each digital acceptance are automatically recorded by the platform and serve as evidence of acceptance of these terms.
Participation in the "Amarantos Gravel Experience" involves inherent risks. Cycling on mixed terrain carries risks of injury, serious bodily harm, or death, which are an inseparable part of this type of athletic activity.
Each participant expressly declares that: (a) they have fully read, understood, and accepted these Participation Rules; (b) they are aware of the risks associated with their participation; (c) they are in good physical condition and medically fit to meet the demands of the activity; and (d) they assume full and exclusive personal responsibility for any accident, injury, serious bodily harm, or death that may occur during their participation.
The organizing company, its team members, volunteers, sponsors, and local entities associated with the event disclaim all liability for any accidents, injuries, equipment damage, or loss of life arising during the preparation,
course, or conclusion of the event, regardless of cause, unless directly attributable to proven wilful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the organizers.
